MORPh Training has worked with the NPC, NICE, BNF, HSCIC delivering prescribing guidelines and information support. More regionally, MORPh has worked with local County Council Public Health Services and CCGs on specific projects.

Study Days

Throughout 2017, MORPh Training have successfully delivered specialist training for GP and practice pharmacists across England. These all day events have been so successful that we’re expanding our programme in 2018 to include Wales and Scotland. In addition, we are adding some major therapy areas, which are likely to attract a lot more interest.

Each study day will be facilitated by a CCG/HB Head of Medicines Management to ensure relevance and all our speakers are experts in their field. As far as we know, MORPh the only company in the UK providing this level of training for this new customer base .. and we have a growing network!

PDA Partnership – Putting our learning into your practice. Training for Primary Care, GP and CCG Pharmacists

Developed by MORPh in partnership with the Pharmacist’s Defence Association, we host evening Risk Management Training for Primary Care and GP Practice Based Pharmacists. MORPh has been delivering training specifically designed for pharmacists working in Clinical Practice, GP and CCG pharmacists since 2001. In partnership with the PDA, the training materials developed are designed to prevent pharmacists from encountering claims and incidents in the future. The resultant training events are now to be rolled out nationally across all four countries of the UK and will be provided free of charge as a member benefit; Keeping Patients Safe.

In 2017, the meetings with be run as a support programme for Primary Care, GP and CCG Pharmacists. All meetings are evening workshops running from 7-9pm and will take place in various locations around the UK; Birmingham, London, Leeds or Manchester, Belfast, Cardiff and Glasgow. Study areas will be :

  • How to develop your competency as a GP practice based pharmacist
  • Risk management techniques for primary care pharmacists – a focus on higher risk practice
  • Defining your role in the GP practice – managing risks and managing expectations

A cold buffet will be provided from 6.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
