MORPh Consultancy’s Managing Director, Dr Duncan Jenkins, is taking part in his biggest adventure this year. Along with friend Jim and supported by Andrew, the three are organising a run up Offa’s Dyke Path to raise money to build schools in Cameroon. The run is planned between the 28th June at the 1st July 2018.
Not only are two going to be running the entire 178mile path, but they’ll be doing this over a 4-day relay! Made up of 33 stages, their aim is for participants of all ages and abilities to take part and run alongside them. The team are looking for at least two runners to take part at each stage of the relay, along with the continuous runners, with an aim to have as many participants as possible running through Prestatyn to the end of the route.
“You can run anything from 5 miles to the full 178 miles over the 4 day period running from 28th June to the 1st July. This is a great opportunity to stretch yourself on an off-road run without the pressure of a race. You can dip in and out, perhaps running a few sections each day – it’s really up to you. I can guarantee that we won’t be running very fast so all abilities welcome. In fact, we would like to include as diverse a range of ages and abilities as possible. We also plan to make this a good social event, camping / glamping / bunk-housing and having a beer each night.”
So, whether you want to walk, skip or run, the team are there to accommodate all needs and it’s a brilliant way to socialise, see the beautiful countryside and raise money for such a fantastic cause.
