In 2018, MORPh Training successfully delivered specialist training for GP and practice pharmacists. We are now expanding our modules to include Asthma, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Nutrition, Ophthalmology and Dermatology and Deprescribing.
Registration and coffee will start at 9.00am with the first talk beginning at 9.45am.
Our speakers are experts in their field and will look at the management in primary care of:
- Angina – Paul Wright, Lead Cardiac Pharmacist, Cardiac Pharmacy Department, Barts Heart Centre, Barts Health NHS Trust
- Hypertension – Paul Wright
- Heart Failure – Paul Wright
- Hyperlidaemia – Dr Andrew Day, Consultant and Head of Department in Clinical Biochemistry and Metabolic Medicine, University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust
There will case studies on all four areas and a focus on both guidelines and practice. The day will be facilitated and chaired by a local head of medicines management or our clinical lead Dr Duncan Jenkins.
