She is also a qualified and experienced clinical trainer with an MEd from Leeds University. Recently she has also been working at practice level running clinics in local GP surgeries.

Experienced in hospital, community & primary care pharmacy sectors within multiple challenging, business development & change management roles. These include previous Superintendent role in growing community pharmacy company & currently as the Medicines Optimisation Lead for Stockport CCG. Current main role is working with Stockport’s GP Federation leading on Stockport’s Integrated Pharmacy Service – building a large Pharmacy team to help approximately 310,000 patients across 37 GP practices to improve all aspects of repeat prescription management in primary care.
Also qualified as an Independent Prescriber with a real passion for person centred care & improving effective communication to enhance informed decision making. After successfully completing the Senior Clinical Pharmacist in General Practice national training pathway continuing to support others through this & similar pathways & learning. Also leading on the integration of the Primary Care Pharmacy team into local Primary Care Networks.

David is currently working as a Pharmacist Prescriber for a group of GP practices that have vertically integrated with the local hospital trust specialising in long term conditions management.
Prior to this he worked as a senior pharmacist providing prescribing advice in commissioning organisations for over 20 years and before that worked in management and Superintendent Pharmacist roles in community pharmacy including LPC membership.
In addition he is currently a pharmacist prescriber member of the Midlands Therapeutic Review and Advisory Committee (MTRAC) and a committee member of the Midlands Practice Pharmacy Network.
